Perhaps you are one of many iPhone users related to the SMS bug on iPhone 3.0.1 OS. Related to this vulnerability Apple just release software to update this SMS bug. Research made by Charlie Miller and Collin Mulliner shew that there is SMS vulnerability on iPhone. Only with certain SMS people can take over data in iPhone. Not only this, this SMS also included with path that will resend SMS to the others.
Based on the information made by Charlie, this bug has been informed to Apple two months ago, but the bug fixing software just release on this week. Miller also informed that SMS bug also able to be done to mobile phone that runs on Android Operating System. But Google has fixed it soon after information released to Google.
iPhone users have to update their OS with the latest version released by Apple to avoid data stolen. Before bug fixing software released by Apple, the only one way to avoid this data theft.
